For years, I lived as if my real life were waiting somewhere else—a future moment where all the pieces fell into place, where I’d finally “arrive.” I chased goals, transformed through personal development, and checked all the right boxes, but the finish line I sought seemed to keep moving.
One day, it hit me: Life isn’t waiting out there—it’s happening right here, right now.
This realization shifted everything. Instead of striving to become, I started allowing myself to simply be. I paused. I breathed. I noticed how alive I felt sipping my morning coffee, hearing my dog Jax’s soft breathing nearby, or savoring the winter light filtering through the trees.
The Wild Awake Woman knows that her life isn’t a destination to reach but a moment-to-moment unfolding to experience. Yes, goals are beautiful, and dreams keep us inspired—but the essence of living isn’t found in some perfect future. It’s in how you show up today.
This shift doesn’t mean giving up on what you want; it’s about anchoring yourself in the richness of the present while creating your next steps with intention. The moment you stop waiting for “someday” is the moment your real life begins.
So I ask:
Where can you root deeper into this moment?
What beauty can you notice in the now that you may have overlooked?
Life is right here, waiting for you to notice it.
