Stir the Pot

I am not a pumpkin spice latte girl (yes, you read that correctly) but what I am is a hearty stew girl. When Autumn arrives I get excited about crockpot meals and one of my favorites is stew, chicken or beef.

Making stew is a simple kind of magic.

You don’t measure every piece or follow strict rules. You gather what you have, what’s fresh, what’s leftover, what just sounds good. You toss it in. Stir. Let it simmer.

And somehow, what felt random or imperfect becomes something nourishing, rich, and whole.

This is what it means to live a Wild Awake life.

Many of us have been taught to separate ourselves. Work is in one box, family in another, spirituality waiting on the side. We’re told to stay polished, sorted, and in control. But that’s not how real life, or real transformation, works.

Real life is more like stew.

It’s all the parts of you showing up at once: the joy and the exhaustion, the clarity and the confusion, the pieces that feel like progress and the ones that feel like mess. And when you allow it all to be here, without fixing or editing, something deep begins to shift.

This isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about giving yourself permission to bring it all to the table.

At Wild Awake Woman, we make space for the whole stew of your life. Because that’s where the nourishment lives. Not in perfection but in presence.

So, what’s in your pot right now?
