Who Do You Need to Be???

When life feels full of unanswered questions, we often default to the same one: What do I need to do?

It’s such a practical question, isn’t it? A checklist maker. A productivity driver. A way to keep moving forward.

But when we only ask what do I need to do, we can miss the deeper truth—transformation doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from becoming more.

This shift has been at the heart of my Wild Awake Woman journey. Over the years, I’ve realized that while tasks and goals have their place, they don’t create the life we long for. It’s who we’re being as we move through the world that shapes our experience.

So today, I invite you to sit with a new question:

Who do I need to be to live fully in alignment with the life I desire?

Do you need to be courageous enough to embrace your truth?
Do you need to be gentle enough to release what’s no longer serving you?
Do you need to be open enough to receive the support you’ve been resisting?

For me, answering this question often means stepping into spaciousness, even when life feels chaotic. It means being the version of me that trusts rest is just as productive as action, that self-knowing matters more than self-improvement.

It’s not always easy. Sometimes, I slip back into doing mode, mistaking busyness for purpose. But every time I return to being, I reconnect with what it means to live Wild Awake.

I’m curious: If you answered this question honestly, what might shift for you?

Would you stop striving and start listening? Would you let go of perfectionism and embrace authenticity?

This is your gentle reminder that you don’t have to do it all. Life will meet you where you are, as long as you’re willing to show up as who you truly are.

So, as you step into the next moment, the next day, or the next season, I invite you to let this be your guide:

The question is not what do I need to do—it is who do I need to be?
